Rewiring the Brain- How Dribbling a Basket Ball sparked Personal transformation

It all started with Dribbling the Ball when I had to play Basketball with my 6-year-old grandson. He taught me that with Dribbling I could take a shot. I learned that Dribbling is a fundamental basketball skill that allows players to move freely on the court while maintaining control of the ball. A technique for hot preparation: Dribbling helps a player set up their shooting stance and rhythm before taking a shot. Many players use a dribble or two to get into a comfortable shooting position. I felt more excited than him when we went to the Basketball court every day. and I could on average drop 5 to 6 out of 10 balls into the Basket. I wondered how I could pick up so fast as I am not a fast learner, especially in Sports.

Simultaneously, I was reading Dr Joe Dispenzas's Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself in my everyday life, which left me understanding the Science Behind this Change. I understood that my thoughts and emotions which had rewired my brain and influenced my body's biology had recognized that I had the power to change my mind and create new neural pathways. Dr Joe helped me to understand that by changing my energetic state through focused attention, I can influence my body and environment. I went through a process of consciously creating and rehearsing new thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, that aligned with the vision that I should play a good sport. I was able to surrender my old self and past conditioning that Basketball is meant for tall players. It was an emotional rehearsal.

It is a very tiny example of shooting a ball that I am sharing. A baby step of change that involves transforming the familiar past into a new future through new neural circuits. I am just wondering how not memorizing my past emotions can reprogramme and recondition myself leading to profound personal transformation.
