Dyslexia Comes with Strengths-A British researcher reviewed the literature on neurodiversity and listed strengths found in individuals with dyslexia in the workplace:
• Entrepreneurialism
• Creativity and cognitive control
• Visual reasoning
• Practical skills, visual-spatial skills, and story-telling ability
Let us join in raising awareness on what dyslexia is all about and how it affects our students and children in our society, and how we can extend our support by identifying it and upholding the unique strengths and weaknesses of the dyslexic.

Change- The unending quest
I have been experiencing many changes in my Personal and professional life. I have realized that Change is a mindset Game. And changing the Mindset is another huge Sport. It calls for Courage, Motivation, Pain, and Preparedness. A social process indeed.
Either we use our Fixed Mindset or the Growth Mindset. Now I realize why my Mom used to scold me, “Don’t do the same thing and fall into a rut.” The growth mindset allows us to take on new challenges and moves us from stagnating.
But not always possible when in the Kitchen, I mess up when new Masala bottles are introduced. I struggle to reach out to the new one!!! My Fixed mind wants only the old ones.
Break the Rules. Trust your Instincts and Act.
My experiential life has demonstrated that there is never a problem, only situations, and issues that must be addressed and resolved.
I am more intuitive; my instincts do not recognize the positive or negative of any situation or person—everything I consider as a situation, a response, and an outcome. More than thinking, I prefer using actions to achieve results.
I counsel my friends and clients to avoid panicking and complaining. ” Clean up a problem and make it work. And adjust situations to yourself rather than adjusting yourself to the situation.” Keep reminding yourself not to get jammed in one plan. Improvise and follow what feels right to you. Your decisions do not require thousands of your fans to back them up. Learn to Live with the outcome. Remember, ” Your preparations and your instincts are your safety net.”
Try it out. It works. It works for me.
